Two Naytahwaush residents hurt in crash
Two Naytahwaush residents were injured when their car was rear-ended by a minivan on Highway 200 Monday afternoon in Mahnomen County.
The driver, Renee Lynn Keezer, 37, and a passenger, Justin Anthony Keezer, 41, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Mahnomen Care Center for treatment, according to the State Patrol. Both were wearing seatbelts.
They were eastbound on Highway 200 in a 1998 Saturn SC when they slowed to make a right turn onto 320th Avenue and were hit from behind by a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan.
The occupants of the minivan were not injured. The driver was Tobeck Samara Davis, 22, of Bemidji and the passengers were Mikaela Lee Bush, 7, and Mikenah Jean Bush, 8, both of Clearbrook. All three were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed in both vehicles.
The crash was reported on dry pavement in Clover Township just before 3 p.m. Monday. The White Earth Police Department and Mahnomen County sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
