Frazee FFA excels in competition

Some Frazee FFA members attended the Fall Rally at Maplelag on Sept. 26.

Frazee's officer team performed a demonstration and placed third among many great teams from the region. Becca Simmon also received Reporter of the Day honors.

The first Career Development Event (CDE) competition was held on Oct. 10. The Frazee teams all did very well and placed quite high.

For forestry, Megan Danielson took first place, Hailey Courneya took second, Emily Aschnewitz placed fourth and Morgan Hanley took eighth place individually. Landyn Pierce and Hunter Anderson rounded out the team, which took first place overall.

The soils team took first place. Individually, Ethan Johnson placed second, Brock Riewer placed third, Ray Holtzhauer placed fifth and Caleb Wutzke placed sixth. Carson Trieglaff rounded out the membership of the top-placing team.

The poultry team placed second overall and Kirstin St. Germain placed first individually.
